Asia media is one of advertising company specialized in broadcasting in bus Rapidkl (Malaysian shuttle company). they are advertising companies' ads with other programs matched through all Rapidkl buses narrow casting. This company which is new entrance has some problems that will be outlined by analyzing SWOT as follows.
STRENGTHS: 1-First mover in the industry, 2-uniqueness of service it promotes, 3-new and attractive way of advertising
WEAKNESSES: 1-Lack of good and powerful programs to attract passengers to watch (most of them), 2-lack of right marketing research to know who are their segmentation and targets, programs repeated more than a couple of times will be damage company's image in the minds of passengers as well as promoters, 3-lack of professional multimedia designed
OPPORTUNITIES: 1-since lots of international students as well as foreigners are riding by bus, 2-it can be a place to watch Malaysia's attractions as a tourist point of view, 3-lots of companies like hypermarkets which their targets can be the same as Asiamedia's segment
TREATS: 1-when Asiamedia does its job in a wrong way to attracting again existing willingnesses of them can be difficult, 2-by losing passengers watching you will lose companies' interests to advertise on asiamedia narrow casting and perhaps they do not contract
RECOMMENDATIONS:
1-Do not use we'll be back, because you lose passenger's attention suddenly, show immediately your ads after your programs finished
2-Use video clip, show in malaysian, chinese, indians and of course more english
3-Use movies, teatre even a program which lasts for 2 hours or more to make passengers your followers, across that you can show your ads like TVs
4-Use ME-TOO method as many large companies are utilising
5-Rapidkl's passengers are interested in watching beatiful beaches, shopping centres, and lots of nice places in malaysia either local or foreigners
6-Educate all variety of your segments if they are tweens,teens,youngsters,adult or babyboomers
7-Cartoon as a very attractive but not all of them be careful to select it
8-Do not focus on your ads, but focus on programs, if so, your customers will be followed automatically
9-Use ads like NIKON

I agree with you in some points.
As you may have noticed, the sound system of asia media TVs in some buses does not work properly and I have found that the employees of this company do not repair it as soon as possible. Some times one tv works and the other does not!!!
As you have mentioned, it has a bad effect on the company and its image.
In your recommendations you have suggested to play movies which even last for 2 hours!! I do not agree whit you there. A movie is to be played in cinema or at home, not in a bus. The value of the movie will be lost. and do you think that the journeis are that much long? The longest journy is at most 1 hour. But I agree with you that the programms and ads are repeated that really bothers the passengers.
